Job description

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team and provide exceptional customer service to our customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities will include answering phones, taking customer orders, and providing great customer service. This position would be ideal for an outgoing, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with the public and planning events, any event decor experience would be an added benefit.

Responsibilities:

● Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing them with tailored event solutions.

● Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring a win-win situation for both parties while maximizing revenue for the company.

● Event Consultation: Provide consultation and guidance to clients regarding event planning, logistics, and customization options.

● Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

● Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as event coordinators, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless execution of events and fulfillment of client expectations.

● Follow-Up: Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback, address concerns, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

● Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts using GS (Goodshuffle) software.

● Effective Communication: Practice active listening and effective communication techniques to understand client needs and address their concerns. Clearly articulate the benefits of our offerings and be responsive to client inquiries.

● Follow-Up Strategy: Implement a systematic follow-up strategy to nurture leads and maintain ongoing communication with prospects. Timely follow-up demonstrates your commitment to customer service and can help close deals.

● Customized Solutions: Tailor your sales approach to the specific needs and objectives of each client. Offer personalized event solutions that align with their goals and budget.

Job Type: Full-time 9-5 pm with occasional overtime in our busy season May – Nov

Language: Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
